Children's book: full colour illustrations

Here's an outcome to the page where Tan meets Rhino for the first time. I like how Tan is looking from behind the trunk in the background and in the foreground is Rhino. I also like how you can see some twigs and branches on the floor that Tan will use on the next page. The perspective is good and in the background you can see some of the jungle has been left alone.

Here's an interesting spot illustration of Rhino and Tan. It's fun while still forwarding the story along.
In this illustration I wanted to show Tana and Rhino looking happy and building a bond. I think the bright colours used and the simplicity of this spot illustration is really effective in representing that.

Here's Tan and Rhino heading on their journey. I wanted the perspective of this to look interesting and  showing that they are having fun.

This is one of my favourite perspectives and pages so far. It has all of the characters on the page and interesting typography. I had a lot of fun creating this page.

I think the most effective spot illustrations is when Tan and the other animals meet for the first time. Also, I like seeing the process of Tan building the trap to show that he's helpful and caring.
This is my favourite spot illustration of Hornbill and Tan. It has a lot of detail and it use bright colours. The perspective of Hornbill looking over Tan's shoulders is also interesting.
