Children's Book: Vinyl Sticker designs

 

For the first of the vinyl stickers I want to have on display for my degree show, I knew I wanted Tan and Hornbill together, so for this spot illustration I took out the background and added extra detail on the ants. However, I did keep the bushes in place. This was because without them it looked sparse and 2D. 

Similar to the previous spot illustration, I took out the background and made the exclamations around rhinos feet yellow. This is so that it would be clear- if I kept it white they would blend into the wall. 

For the top section of my wall, I will be adding in vines, Tan and Hornbill just to make sure none of my work looks sparse or out of place. 

Here's an example of how the characters would look. I think this will look really effective above my artwork and I am excited to see the outcome!
